Story
Great Weston Ride Hello Everyone I am riding the Bristol to Weston bike ride alongside Alan johnson, Gerry Fletcher and Matt Trohear to help raise money for the fund. We have all been training hard over the last few weeks to have some sort of level of fitness to complete the ride. Some of us have even been known to skip the visit to the pub, and cycle up large hills living only on Special K for days on end. Strange things happen to people when faced with a challenge, and i for one did not think i would be cycling at 6 am in the morning. We are are looking foward to the day and are hoping to raise as much money as we can for Ryan's fund. Any sponsers would be be greatly appreciated. Simon, Alan, GerryUpdates

19th July 2011Hello Everyone,
We completed the ride in what can only be described as, very bad weather indeed. Anyone who has cycled before would be aware that strong winds and rain do not make for an easy ride. But i think i can honestly say despite the conditions, we all enjoyed the day and felt that we had achieved our aim of raising money for meningitis uk, in memory of Ryan johnson. All we have to do now is collect the sponsor money raised and add this to Ryan's fund.
Hopefully, together we will reach the £400 mark!
